Hi and welcome! I'm Steph, I'm 29 and I'm a salon based Brow and Makeup Artist, although location is available on request.
I cover anything from occasions, bridal, SFX and body painting to gents makeup application. If there's something you want done and you can't see an example on my site then please contact me...chances are I have done it but haven't shared due to client discretion.
I can also offer hair updos which can be booked following a consultation. As well as makeup I offer brow services. I don't believe in a bog standard wax and tint then sending you on your way.
I take my time with your brows, mapping them and discussing a plan of action if they have been over plucked or in need of TLC. Achieving that desired shape is paramount to me and I'll always be 100% upfront with my clients about what they need or don't need.
Your brows are in safe hands with me! For new clients, I'm based at Barber Black Sheep Hair Salon which is a very relaxed alternative hair salon.
The staff are inked, pierced and have colourful hair. We have a variety of clients who come to us because they are made to feel like part of the family, from toddlers to glam Grans and Grandads! I love meeting new people and you will be well looked after when here for your appointment.

Vintage / Natural makrup
Despite building a reputation for my glam makeovers, I do natural makeovers on a regular basis too. Natural looks are perfect for clients not used to wearing a lot of makeup and who prefer a more lightweight finish.
These looks take between 45 minutes - 1 hour to complete and include natural lashes if requested at no extra cost. I use medium coverage foundation for these looks which are lightweight and comfortable.
Eyes are usually soft browns, nudes and pinks to compliment the eyes and outfit being worn, should you want something more bold then please check out my glam looks if you want to go that bit further with your look.
A particular look I've done often which falls under this section is a pin up recreation (winged liner, flawless skin and bold lip.) Vintage inspired looks are becoming more popular as well as many ladies taking part in vintage photoshoots.
I adore vintage inspired makeup, it's just beautiful and enhances my clients' natural beauty. There are more examples of these looks I've done should you wish to see them under the Photoshoots section of my site.
Brows
As well as makeup I offer brow services. Brows really do shape your face and are incredibly important.
With having them shaped correctly, they can give the appearance of a more lifted eye, help you look more youthful and have a slimming effect on the face.
Clients who wear makeup and brow products will also find it much easier to apply products to well groomed brows. I don't believe in a bog standard wax and tint then sending you on your way.
I take my time with your brows, mapping them and discussing a plan of action if they have been over plucked or in need of TLC. Each service is tailored to you so you won't leave me with really dark brows unless you've specifically asked for that, I cater for fair hair and natural looks too.
Achieving that desired shape and look is paramount to me and your brows are in safe hands. New clients must be patch tested 48 hours before your tint and consultations are available to book if you want to have a chat before your appointment.
Corporate events
At the beginning of my college course I was lucky enough to do some work experience with Beauty Blvd who are more widely known for their Glitter Lips, they were also featured on Dragon's Den.
They have given me the opportunity to work at beauty shows and private events glittering up customer`s lips, faces, body and hair as well as selling a variety of their products.
The biggest and most exciting opportunity I was given was working at the Coronation Street Christmas Party in 2017! I'm a big fan of Coronation Street so had an absolutely amazing time glittering up the cast and crew and partying with them afterwards.
Beauty Blvd are also located in Lincoln and I'm happy to say I'm also a stockist of their products. I have a few glitters in my kit so happy for you to try before you buy, just pop in and see me.
Photo Shoots / Boudoir
Throughout my journey as a Makeup Artist I've been lucky enough to collaborate with photographers for a variety of shoots.
Many of the shoots I've worked on have been with my Mum who's a professional photographer, although you will see examples of photoshoots I've worked on with other professionals.
I'm a versatile artist and happy to take on any project whether it is a vintage look or avant garde, the more creative the better. If you are a photographer and would like to collaborate, I'd love to hear from you.
Glam
In an ever changing and evolving world of makeup, full glam looks are becoming more and more popular, daring and adventurous. Full glam looks do take longer than the more natural makeovers, approximately 1.5 hours so please bare this in mind when booking.
The techniques I use are different to the natural look and more time consuming. I like to take my time and ensure you're 100% happy with your makeover rather than feeling like you've been rushed through.
I also like to get to know you and have a laugh too making the experience more relaxing and comfortable.
I'm very passionate about creating full glam looks as I can be more creative, use bold colours and really enhance your features. I'm inspired by many artists and their application techniques to achieve flawless results. I've trained with Stacey Marie and completed several Plouise online courses to help better myself. I'm always learning new skills as I'm passionate about providing the best possible service to my clients.
SFX & Creative Artistry

Sfx/creative I've always had an interest in SFX and the more creative side of make-up artistry and dabbled in it a little, mainly at Halloween.
However it's been recently due to college that I've discovered how much fun it is. Because of my course, I've discovered a love for body painting which is something I'm continuing and I'm hoping to compete in at beauty shows in future.
Having enjoyed Art & Design previously, being able to use a human body as a blank canvas to create something is pretty amazing! I've always had a creative streak so being able to broaden my skills with learning to body paint has been really valuable.
I also love the gore and SFX that can be created with makeup which is perfect for TV and film work as well as the most gory time of the year...Halloween! There are many products and techniques used as well as time and patience to achieve the looks in this section, therefore I don't have a flat rate price for them.
They all vary so much from 30 minutes to 6 hours, so please get in touch to discuss what you're interested in and for a quotation.
Bridal
Brides choose me as I pay attention to detail, listen to their needs and take my time in order to achieve the desired look.
I'm laid back and approachable so I like my brides and bridesmaids to also feel relaxed and well looked after, not to mention have a laugh. I'm not your typical makeup artist in that I'm quite alternative as mentioned already and enjoy having 'banter' with my clients and forming a good relationship with them leading up to the big day.
As a result the majority of my wedding bookings have been through word of mouth from happy brides I've made over on their special day, or clients I've made over on other occasions.
Before the big day I always recommend coming in for a trial. This allows you to get to know me and my way of working and for me to get to know you too.
I book out 2 hours for all trials so that we're not rushed, have plenty of time to chat and time to amend the look if necessary.
I promote an open and honest environment and welcome changes or critique as after all, that's what your trial is for. On the day, I do prefer to make over the bride first or second.
The wedding day can be stressful for a bride so ensuring you're ready early on means you can relax and concentrate on getting something to eat/drink and enjoy the lead up to the your wedding.
I stay till you're ready to leave so that I can touch up anything ensuring you look perfect for your ceremony and pictures, the same goes for anyone else in the wedding party I've made over.
I do try to encourage my bridal party to come to me as I'm salon based, however I understand many would prefer for me to come to them.
